| SEBI mandated Standardized, Validated & Exclusive UPI IDs |

SEBI has mandated all registered investor-facing intermediaries to adopt standardized, validated, and exclusive UPI IDs (with the “@valid” handle) for collecting payments from investors. This initiative aims to enhance payment security and transparency in the securities market. The new UPI IDs will be effective from October 1, 2025 |
